Chronic illness is skyrocketing healthcare costs. This is true in every developed country. In 2017, the US spent 17.9% of GDP on healthcare, with chronic illness accounting for half of the total amount. One of the major underlying issues are sleep disorders, which are often underdiagnosed and undertreated. We spun-off Lona to help address this problem.
Lona is a Kiipo subsidiary focused on the entire sleep disorder treatment process. Using wearables we can accurately screen for sleep disorders from the comfort of your home, and present the results to your doctor.
